HSC and Equivalent Examination Results 2018

The average pass rate of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under 10 boards is 66.64 percent. GPA-5 received 29 thousand 262 students.

This year, the average pass rate of students under eight education boards is 64.55 percent. Pass rate decreased 2.29 percent from last year.

Barisal Education Board has the highest percentage of pass rate in HSC examinations under eight general education boards. The pass rate of this board is 70.55 percent. On the other hand, Dinajpur Education Board is behind. The pass rate of this board is 60.21 percent.

Under the Madrasah Education Board, the pass rate of Alim examination increased slightly. But the number of GPA-5 decreased. The average pass rate in this examination is 78.67%. 1.65% has increased from last time. Last year, the pass rate was 77.02 percent. This year 1,244 students have got GPA-5. Last year, there were 1,815 students. That means GPA-5 decreased by 571. There were 97,793 students on this board and has passed 76 thousand 932 students.

In both pass rate and GPA-5 under Technical Education Board are worse than last time. Now the average pass rate is 75.50 percent. The rate was 81.33 percent on last year. This year 2,456 people have got GPA-5 under this board which was 2,669 people last year. That means GPA-5 decreased by 213. There were 1 lakh 18 students on this board and has passed 89 thousand 89 students.
